• Academic Major
• Birthdate
• Year of Study

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To Operate the App: To create and manage your user account, authenticate you, and provide the core functionalities of the app.
• To Display Your Profile: Your Display Name and Profile Picture may be visible to other users of the app in contexts such as event registration lists.
• For Account Security: Your phone number is used solely for account security and recovery purposes.
• To Personalize Your Experience: We may use your academic information, such as your major and year of study, to personalize and recommend relevant activities to you in future versions of the app.

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except with core service providers necessary for the app to function, such as Google for Firebase backend services (Authentication and Firestore Database).

Data Security

We rely on the robust security measures provided by Google's Firebase platform to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active. You may request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

You can initiate this request through two methods:

1. In-App: By navigating to the Profile or Settings section within the Alnoor Connect app and selecting the account deletion option.
2. Via the Web: By visiting our public Account Deletion page, which does not require you to have the app installed.
